Below is a series of frequently asked questions about our program.

The Australian Plus is part of our ongoing commitment to making your subscription the very best it can be. As an eligible subscriber you'll be offered a range of rewards that include special access, experiences, as well as hand picked offers.

If you are a digital or digital-with-home-delivery bundled subscriber to The Australian then you are eligible for membership to The Australian Plus.

If you are a home delivery subscriber without digital access you are not eligible. You can upgrade to your subscription to include digital access by calling: 1800 186 580 . Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more details on eligibility.

News' Privacy Policy includes important information about the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information, including providing you with targeted advertising based on your online activities. It explains that if you do not provide News with information News has requested from you, News may not be able to provide you with the goods and services you require. It also explains how you can access or correct your personal information, how you can complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and how News will deal with a complaint of that nature. Each reward may only be redeemed once, but if there is more than one reward available, you can redeem one of each. But be quick because in some cases rewards are only available while stocks last.

Some rewards are not transferrable which will be specified in the Terms and Conditions of that reward.

First, just check that your email address is up to date and that your subscription is one that entitles you to rewards.

Then, check your junk email folder to ensure that the email was not filtered. If you are eligible and haven't received an email please contact us on 1800 208 675.  If you would like to upgrade to become a member, please call 1800 186 580.

Note that if you opted out of all email marketing communications you won’t be receiving our offers newsletter either, but you can still visit The Australian Plus website to see our current offers at theaustralianplus.com.au

When your subscription to The Australian ends, your rewards eligibility will cease. Many of your benefits also cease when your eligible subscription ends, unless you replace it with another eligible active subscription.

We value all of our subscribers which is why we create different offers and benefits to suit our varying products.

The Australian Plus program is specifically designed to reward our digital and digital-with-home-delivery bundled subscribers because they choose to consume their news digitally.

If you're a home delivery subscriber to our newspaper, you can upgrade by calling 1800 186 580. 

Subscribers eligible for The Australian Plus must be over 18. You must be a resident of Australia to receive most of the benefits of The Australian Plus, although you can still be eligible for some The Australian Plus benefits if you are resident outside Australia. Eligible international members will have limited access to The Australian Plus benefits as many discounts and competitions are located or valid only in Australia. Certain rewards are not transferable and are subject to the terms and conditions of that reward. When your eligible subscription ends, your membership to The Australian Plus will cease as well,unless you replace it with another eligible active subscription.

To access your member benefits visit theaustralianplus.com.au. As long as you maintain your eligible subscription to The Australian you are entitled to all the benefits of The Australian Plus.

If you have placed an order and haven’t yet received it please contact us on 1800 208 675.

If you have purchased a ticket/s to an event through The Australian Plus your booking confirmation will be emailed to you. If you are unsure or cannot locate it, please contact us via email.

Please contact us via email [email protected]  to discuss how you would like to amend your event booking. Please note tickets are non-refundable unless The Australian Plus cancels or changes the event date/time.
